Celebrations

The religion of Shinto has many celebrations or holidays. The main celebrations are:

New Year

Child birth

 Coming of age

 Planting and harvest

Weddings

Groundbreaking ceremonies for new buildings.

Fertility

Death, funerals, and graveyards involve Buddhist rituals which are not Shinto.

The Shinto celebrates the traditional Japanese holidays and celebrations like which are called matsuri.

When celebrating, there is a lot of entertainment. They have dancing, which represent different days of celebrations, they have singing, they have plays and so much more!
There is also a lot of good food. When cooking some of the foods, the people entertain. They pound dough with amazing technuiqe, they toss rice up into the air, and they make amzingly good food.
